Dear Real Estate Professional:

If you’ve been following my Free Help for Real Estate Agents Fan Page, or you’ve been one of the thousands of loyal subscribers to my Tuesday Tactics newsletter, you know I’m 100% dedicated to your success.

Recently a broker in charge of several large offices wrote me the following:

“Scott, I subscribed to your Tuesday Tactics newsletter last month and I love it. I know you guys have been publishing your newsletter for a while… How can I get my hands on the stuff I missed?”

GREAT QUESTION. It got me thinking: Even if I had the time to put together a comprehensive archive of our actionable, tactical articles, who would have the time to absorb all of it at once? It’d be MASSIVE.

Most agents would be so overwhelmed that they’d miss out on the very tools which would literally give them back hours of their life and put money in their pockets.

That’s when lightning struck:
Why not get my team together and highlight
the BEST and BRIGHTEST tips and tools from 2009?

I called up Eric, my editor in San Francisco, and pitched him the concept. He took that deep breath of “here we go again” that I’m used to hearing when I want to jump on a new idea.

“Scott, let me get this straight—” he said. “On top of the new books and webinars we already have in production, you want us to add a brand new guide that highlights the cream of the crop from last year, too?”
“Exactly,” I said. “And I want it hand picked. Only the most powerful stuff we published last year.”

And that’s exactly what we’re doing.

I’m very excited to hear how all of the people who pre-registered react to this new book. I have to tell you, it may be the best one we’ve put together yet. Over 45 pages of incredible material! I think our Free Help fans will love this edition, and I look forward to the comments.

  2. Kim says:

    Thanks for providing this.

  3. Eric says:

If you have problems with your zip code, you can leave it blank. Likewise, if you don’t see your franchise listed, you can choose “OTHER” until we have the list updated. Thanks.

  7. The ebook had some very good info in it. I did read it and printed out a few pages that might be helpful in the future. Thanks

  8. Emily says:

I started reading it and as soon as I got to something I wasn’t doing…i.e. procrastinating about returning calls, I stopped reading and made all my calls.

I do the same each time I find something else. So far, It has been used more of a reminder of what I should be doing!
    Thank you.

  9. Ray says:

This was great! I’ve already used some of the tactics to expand my online presence and improve my client dialogue!

  10. Jill hughes says:

I love it! I printed it out and bound it so I could keep it with me and refer to it. Thank you for giving us your tips-I look forward to them every Tuesday!

  11. Eric says:

Wow, great comments. Thanks for the feedback.

We’ve heard that some offices have been interested in printing sections of the book for distribution at meetings– by all means, do so!

  12. Lee Sattley says:

I simply have not had the time since downloading it to read it in depth. I did look through and saw as
    many non-familiar as familiar parts.

Will slow down here soon and take a couple days off and get back to you with some observations. I am sure it will be positive as I always look forward to Tuesday’s.

  13. Rudy Benko says:

  18. Sandy Johnston says:

Thanks for the information. I have printed and will use it for future reference. =)

  19. I’m very much enjoying the “Tactics.” It is a great reference book that can be digested all at once or picked up to read at random. It’s a good reminder of why I became a Realtor! Thanks much for the resource!

  20. Mike Sety says:

I enjoyed the free book. Thank you.

The biggest lesso I got out of the book is: “A good way to stay in touch is by giving clients and possible clients something of value that cost very little” You do that very well.

Another thing you could do is to offer a forum where Real estate agent (and others) post commennts and questions or go to search for solutions and recommnendations. It could be set up like a bulletin board with a variety of topics such as Short Sales, Cameras, etc You could offer sub categories such as Best or Worst.

An example is, the web site devoted to the Blackberry phone. I think it is for profit but add a forum for users and potential users.

    Thanks again and Good Luck

    Mike Sety

  21. Just printed the entire book so I can use as a reference tool over & over again. Loved the service & pricing topics. Found the entire book very informative & easy to read. I will absolutely try out the free web tools and see if I can use any to help better my time management & overall business. Thank You! A wonderful resource. Renata V. Lewis with RealtyUSA

  23. Marie says:

I want to start by saying Thank you! What a great gift to share. I had to print the book after reading on line it had just too much good information that I could reference. I can’t wait for my business to grow I will be using your company for as much of my marketing as I can in the future. You put together really good info for us, I feel any company that would do that is defiantly a company I want to work with. Now I have to get busy so I can use you!!!

  24. I found this guide to have excellent tips for both a novice or a veteran in the real estate business. What an innovative approach to growing your (sign & graphics) business. I am always impressed when a vendor goes the extra mile to assist me so that I can be your “customer for life”. I commit to placing my next sign order through you. Your personable approach at trade shows is without equal and appreciated by this “one of thousands of customers” at my existing vendor. Ouch! Did I write that?

  25. Nadine Krasnow says:

    Always interesting and thought-provoking!
